Stampeding elephants! Raging typhoons! Runaway trains! Join fearless adventurer Phileas Fogg and his faithful valet in the original “Great Race,” circling the globe in an 1870s alive with danger, romance, and comic surprises at every turn. In a hilariously theatrical style, five actors portray dozens of characters in a thrilling race against time and treachery.
ACTOR 4: Female, late 20s-early 30s, South Asian, speaks English with a Hindi accent. Actress plays Aouda, an Indian princess from Bundelkhand who escapes her previous situation and joins Phileas Fogg on his travels. They fall in love, changing both their lives dramatically.
Actor 4 also plays these male roles: James Forster, Fogg’s previous manservant, a London Newspaperman (both with working-class or middle-class British accents); and a Brahmin Priest.
