Welcome to all things NATIVE GARDENS!

Excited to welcome the wonderful folks from TheatreWorks back to LA. They are always a pleasure to work with. Very hapy to be working with Amy Gonzalez again as well. Amy is passionate about this play and is a perfect match for it's wit and wisdom.

Below is a ton of helpful information to get you ready for our auditions. Please be sure to read through everything carefully before you confirm your appointment.

* Auditions in LA and at TheatreWorks only.

* Rehearsals and performances will be in Mountain View Ca. (Bay Area)

* As of now, the roles of Tania and Pablo are the only out of town hires.


Rehearsals: 7/31  Open: 8/25 and Closes: 9/16.


LORT B $914 per week
Housing and Transportation: Round-trip coach airfare, studio apartment and sole use of a car.

TANIA DEL VALLE, 29.  Latina from New Mexico.  Eight months pregnant.  Dedicated to the high ideals of native landscaping and what they represents. At home working in the earth.  A scholarly, Ph.D. candidate, who conducts research on cultural origins.  At times grounded, compassionate and reasonable, at other times a fierce defender of her strong beliefs. Considers herself “passionately rational.”  Married to Pablo Del Valle.

PABLO DEL VALLE, 31. Latino, originally from Chile.  Grew up in privilege, now disinherited by father.  Wants to get ahead on his own.  A newly hired attorney at a prominent Washington DC law firm.  Confident, assertive. Tempered by the social values of his wife, whom he adores.  Remnants of his entitled upbringing co-exist with a desire for a deeper connection to nature and community. Married to Tania Del Valle.
