-

-
December 16th: 2:10pm
-
Additional Character Notes:
-
Paulette Bonafonte: Paulette lived in a trailer park with an abusive man for ten years. She has a heart of gold, but self esteem is a definite issue. Not an academic mind. Not a caricature; Paulette is quirky and funny without trying to be. With Elle’s support, she eventually finds the strength to step into the life she has always dreamed of. It’s important to find an artist who can find Paulette’s heart and idiosyncrasies and take us on this journey in an honest way. Comfortable with Movement a plus. Alto/belter, G3-A5.
-
Emmett Forrest: Unassuming academic type. Smart, sensitive teaching assistant at Harvard. He is charming, quirky, earnest "good guy". Emmett becomes Elle’s mentor and eventual love interest. Great with comedy. Vocal range: Tenor, A2-A4. No movement or dance.
