Equity: $1,099/week

Non-union: $612/week (with EMC points)
REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE
Days and times are subject to change, but this is more than likely what our schedule will be:
Rehearsals: La Mirada at the Rehearsal Hall (15519 Phoebe Avenue)
Until tech week, rehearsals will be from either 11am-7pm or 12pm to 8pm Tuesday through Friday.
Rehearsals are typically from 10am to 6pm or 11am-7pm on the weekends
Performances: Six Show Performance week: Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 8pm, Sundays at 1:30pm and 6:30pm

There will be a very quick refresh of the choreo already taught and then you will learn a new combination. 60-90 minutes for dance

Small Groups

Those we invite to stay after small groups will be asked to sing and read (end time TBD)

Those who stay will be asked to sing first and then you will be asked to read the sides.

SWING INFORMATION:

We will be hiring two non AEA offstage swings to cover male and female identifying ensemble roles. Must be strong actors/dancers (high energy contemporary dance)/singers with excellent pitch to navigate this very difficult score and its many key changes. Non AEA. Understudies/Swings will only go on if someone is out sick.

Typically, Understudy/Swing rehearsals are scheduled on the first and second Thursdays after opening.

Elle Woods: 20-33. Character identifies as female. Any ethnicity. Strong Actor/Singer /Dancer (high energy contemporary dance). Optimistic, energetic fashion obsessed sorority girl, determined, confident and always sees the best in others. She follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School and ends up discovering her true potential. Great with comedy, triple threat - Mezzo/belter, F#3-F5.
Emmett Forrest: 28-35. Character identifies as male. Any ethnicity. Smart, sensitive teaching assistant at Harvard. He is charming, quirky, modest, friendly and becomes Elle’s mentor and eventual love interest. Great with comedy. Vocal range: Tenor, A2-A4. No movement or dance.
Paulette Bonafonte: 35-45. Character identifies as female. Any ethnicity. Paulette is a slightly eccentric beautician struggling with self-esteem who befriends Elle. She is a romantic, a fan of Celtic anything and longs to find a good man. No filter; she says what’s on her mind. Great with comedy. Comfortable with Movement a plus. Alto/belter, G3-A5.
Professor Callahan: 40-55. Character identifies as male. Caucasian. A ruthless, prestigious Harvard law professor who is more concerned with winning cases than ethics. Baritone or bari-tenor, A2-F#4. No movement or dance.
Warner Huntington III: 20-33. Character identifies as male. Any ethnicity. Handsome and privileged. Warner is a somewhat shallow person who values status and image over substance. Tenor or bari-tenor, A2-G#4. No movement or dance.
Vivienne Kensington: 25-33. Character identifies as female. Any ethnicity. A serious, driven Harvard law student and Warner's new girlfriend. Vivienne initially dismisses Elle, but circumstances change and she becomes Elle’s ally and friend. Soprano/Belt A3 – Ab5. May also be in Ensemble (high energy contemporary dance).
Enid Hoops: 28 to 32. Character identifies as female. Any ethnicity. Law student. Feminist, activist, highly intelligent. Enid stands up for what she believes in. Bb3-D5. Will also be in Ensemble (high energy contemporary dance)
Brooke Wyndham: 30’s. Character identifies as female. Any ethnicity. Athletic and Contemporary dancer. Must have both vocal and physical stamina. A wealthy fitness guru and former Delta Nu sorority girl. She is energetic and charismatic, in excellent shape and refuses to take the easy way out. She is on trial for murder. May also play Shandi: Sorority Girl. Triple Threat. Mezzo/belter, A3-G5. Will also be in Ensemble (high energy contemporary dance)
Margot: 20-32. Character identifies as female. Any ethnicity. Must be strong actor/dancer/singer with excellent pitch to navigate this very difficult score and its many key changes. A bit boy crazy, slightly dim Delta Nu Girl/Greek Chorus. Soprano/Belt, G#3 – F5. Will also be in Ensemble (high energy contemporary dance)
Serena: 20-32. Character identifies as female. Any ethnicity. Must be strong actor/dancer/singer with excellent pitch to navigate this very difficult score and its many key changes. Opinionated, plucky Delta Nu Girl /Greek Chorus. Soprano/Belt, G#3 – F5. Will also be in Ensemble (high energy contemporary dance)
Pilar: 20-32. Character identifies as female. Actress of color. Must be strong actor/dancer/singer with excellent pitch to navigate this very difficult score and its many key changes. Sassy, sensible Delta Nu Girl /Greek Chorus- Soprano/Belt G#3 – F5. Will also be in Ensemble (high energy contemporary dance)
Kate : 20-32. Ensemble. Character identifies as female. Any ethnicity. Must be strong actor/dancer (high energy contemporary dance)/singer with excellent pitch to navigate this very difficult score and its many key changes. Delta Nu Girl/Greek Chorus. The serious one. May also play Chutney Wyndham: Millionaire's daughter. Falsely accuses Brooke of killing her father. Bb3 – Eb5.
Kyle: 28-35. Ensemble. Characters identify as male. Any ethnicity. Must be strong actor/dancer (high energy contemporary and rap dance)/singer with excellent pitch to navigate this very difficult score and its many key changes. UPS delivery man. Kyle is a strong and good-looking Michael B. Jordan type. Paulette’s love interest. Roles may also include- Grandmaster Chad: Featured Rap performer/dancer. Dewey: Paulette’s loser ex-Boyfriend. Nikkos: 20-32. Ensemble. Characters identify as male of European ethnicity. Must be strong actor/dancer (high energy contemporary dance)/singer with excellent pitch to navigate this very difficult score and its many key changes. Brooke’s pool boy. “Mysteriously European”. Handsome. Spends a lot of time at the gym. May also include the role of Cezar Tepesh: Ex-dictator and law student. E3-C4.
Carlos: 20-32. Ensemble. Characters identify as male of European ethnicity.
